Holiday Cheer

Wow what a wild few days!!! I finally got some time to sit down at the computer and tell all of you about my first Christmas. The first thing we did was go to Nana and Pops so I could meet my great grandmother, then we went to Emmies so I could see all my mom's family. After that we went to Faith Baptist Church and sang, and listened to some guy talk about a man named Jesus and how lucky we are to get to celebate his birthday and how he gave us all an amazing gift and how much he loves us. I fell asleep, but Daddy said that was ok because he did that sometimes to. After church we went back to Nana and Pops where we ate and ate and ate. Then we went home and Mom and Dad opened presents and went to bed. We woke up on Christmas morning and started all over again! We went to all the grandparents and ate some more and opened up a bunch of presents. I really am loved, I got so much stuff and so many hugs. It was really awesome spending so much tume with mom and dad and my family. Dad did not work for 3 days, so mom had 2 kids on her hands, but she did great!! I am ready for my next holiday. I am really excited about it, I hear I get to stay up until midnight, and there will be a new year! Im not real sure what a year is and why we need a new one, but if all these people are celebrating, I guess I will to!! I am putting a couple of pictures up from Christmas. Introducing Me, Conner Wesley Underwood

Let me first apologize for just now uploading my pics etc, things at the Underwoods have sure been busy.

I want to officially introduce myself, I am Conner Wesley Underwood, AKA  CW to some. I was born November 30, 2009. I was 8lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches tall. Mom and I had a long hard day and I didn't want to come on my own so the doctors had to come get me. Everything went well with me, mom was sick but dad did such an awesome job taking care of not just her, but me too. Dad changed all my first diapers and fed me for the first few feedings of my life. We had a nice stay and had many visitors while in the hospital. We came home that Thursday. It was a big day! I rode in the car, saw my home and room for the first time, and  met my dogs Dixie and Gunner. I also had my first slumber party where I stayed up almost all night. I love my room and am having a blast with my parents. We are all learning, but so far we are doing good! I have been busy meeting my family, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, unlces, and more: everyone is already spoiling me! I like the attention and all the warm bodies for sure. My Room!

I wanted to show you guys my room before I mess it up. Mom likes dad and I to be clean and try to keep a straight house. We had a big weekend. Mom, dad, and I went to the zoo, but I  couldn't see much. I could hear the monkeys and bears making noise but will just have to wait a little bit longer to actually see them. Duh I am still in mom's tummy. I am cramped in here though! She keeps irritating me by pushing my feet and little bottom. She knows she can just move me around and I will kick back. Dad and her love picking on me though and sit around and watch me play in her BIG belly. Mom is uncomfortable at this point and  she can't wait for her hands to wake up and get back to normal. Dad is just so ready for me to come it isn't funny. My parents are ready to meet me and I am ready to come play with my brother and sister, Gunner and Dixie.

Ready or not here I come

Hey guys, it's Conner again. My mom and dad have been super busy since my last post. Dad is working real hard at work, working hard at school and trying to get my room finished. If he works any slower I might be the first newborn to finish his own nursery. Mom is busy like she always is. She is working, carrying me around, cleaning up all over the house AND putting up with all my dads mess. For some reason mom and dad don't have good luck with baby furniture but they should have my room done in a few days. I can't wait to see it, it has to be better than this place I am right now, I'm cramped, and I know mom is ready to get me out of here!! Anyway back to the house. Everything is ALMOST done, Mom and dad just have to finish a few small things. Their neighbor Ryan sure has helped out a bunch. They did get a few fall decorations up, I bet they look good, I guess I will have to wait til next year since I won't be doing anything but eating and pooping the first few weeks I'm here. Mom is going to do the Race for the cure this weekend, and dad just got back from trout fishing for a couple of days last weekend. Mom has her baby bag packed so she is ready when I am. We are both a little worried about my ole dad, I hope he can hold things together long enough to get me and mom to the hospital. I think he will be fine. Mom and dad are going to have me at Baptist Women's hospital if you were wondering. They are really excited, I can tell. I myself am ready to meet the family and the puppies. I think we are going to get along great!! I think the big one will sleep in my room and protect me and the little one will just ignore me. Well folks, I'm going to go turn somersaults in moms tummy and go to bed so I can wake her up in the middle of the night. You guys check back and get ready cause I'm coming!!!

My Family

Whats up, My name is Conner Wesley Underwood. Most of you do not know me, because, well cause I'm not even born yet. I just thought that my parents needed to get into this whole blogging thing so I figured I would sign them up. If you are reading this, then most likely you already know the family, however in case you have forgotten here is the story of the Underwoods. My mom and dad went to UT Martin together where they fell in love. After realizing my mom had spent 4 years putting up with all his mess, dad decide he needed to marry mom so he asked her. She said yes. They moved to Oakland after their wedding in the summer of 2007. Mom works really hard as a dental hygienist and dad works for Co-op. About 18 months into the marriage I came into the picture and I will be moving in sometime in November of 2009. I can't wait to meet Mom, dad and the dogs. I think we are going to have a lot of fun. I plan on filling up a bunch of diapers and keeping mom and Dad very very busy. Mom and Dad go to Faith Baptist in Bartlett and they absolutely love their church. They have an awesome family and I am pretty excited amount meeting all of my Grandparents and aunts and Uncles. I also can't wait to meet the dogs. We are going to be one big happy family. I will do my best to keep this blog updated, I mean what else do I have to do?? I have put some pictures of the family so you guys can see what I am in for!!
